So it finally happened. I picked the outfit I’ve been dreaming about my entire life.. Well yeah maybe that is a bit dramatic. But of course during my India trip one of the main focuses was to buy my wedding outfit and after a lot of deliberation, stress and panic I picked my wedding lehenga from Frontier Phagwara. Although I had never shopped there before, there wasn’t anywhere that has much choice as Frontier and their service was incredible too. After picking the un-stitched fabric the lehenga was made in 5 days which I was so happy about. I had told my mum I wasn’t leaving India without it.
It was daunting looking at so many lehengas especially as they are all so beautiful, and one thing I realised was that the lehenga is all about personal taste, of course trends change but believe me you’ll know which lehenga is the one once you see it. As I would like it remain a surprise I won’t be posting full pictures of my outfit, you’ll have to wait until after the wedding for them.. So here is a few sneaky pictures.
I must have seen about 17 or 18 lehengas before I decided that this was the one. As the fabric was unstitched I was worried about how it would look in the end, but when I tried it on it felt incredible (of course it’s really heavy) but besides that I really do love it. For jewellery, shoes and bags I decided to shop around and in the end I got my bridal shoes and clutch from Kultham in Phagwara and my Jewellery is from a boutique store in Nakador.
