I was really looking forward to the April Glossybox, I had decided that after this I would decide whether I wanted to keep my subscription going, and it’s fair to say this months Glossybox has really surprised me.
I love the design on the box, the gorgeous designs by Pearl Lowe make the box so much more exciting. I had no idea what products I would be getting in the box, and resisted watching any unboxing videos or any blog reviews. So here goes..
A-Derma Intense Lip Balm. Full size 15ml £7.95
I gave this a go and I can’t really say much about it so far, it’s nice and it does the job but I can’t see it being something that I would reach for or consider re purchasing. It’s a great size to keep in your handbag or for travelling though. Who knows, I might just grow to love it!
Sleek Makeup Blush in Suede – Full size £4.49
I’ve wanted to try a Sleek blush as so many people rave about it, when I first saw the colour I wasn’t blown away by it but having used it I do really like it, the smell is a little off putting as it reminds me of powder paints that you used in school, but besides this the colour payoff is quit good. I’m really tempted to try out some other colours that would be more suited to my skin tone.
Nip + Fab Dry Skin Fix Body Butter in Mango – Full Size £9.95
I’ve heard great things about Nip+Fab and to be honest I’m not really someone who moisturises my skin after a shower, I’m just lazy. So when I saw this I wasn’t that blown away, but then I smelt it. Oh my, It smells so good I could eat it. The texture is amazing, so it looks like I’ll be incorporating this into my routine.
Essie Nail Laquer in Rosebowl – Full size £7.99
I almost screamed when I saw a full size Essie nail polish (Okay, maybe I did scream a little) I already have 2 metallic nail colours from Essie but had bought these from a discount site, I could never really justify buying them at full price, so hadn’t had the chance to try out any of the brighter shades. I’m yet to wear this or try it out so I’m really looking forward to it, I hope it lives up the raves Essie always seems to get!
Yves Rocher France – Full Size £44
I’m not always a fan of the perfume samples in Glossybox as you can only ever use them once as there doesn’t seem to be much, always seems wasted as product but this one comes in a cute little bottle, which just makes it amazing. The smell is gorgeous and it will last a few goes which is great, not something I would purchase full size, but a great sample to try.
Overall I’m really happy with this months Glossybox, it really is much better than I had anticipated and with 3 full size items, it seems like you get a lot more for your money. Bring on next month, please don’t let me down! Have you guys tried this months Glossybox? If not you can subscribe here; http://www.glossybox.co.uk/
