A few weeks back whilst I was in Boots there was a 3 for 2 offer on Bourjois makeup, seeing as I’m always trying out different blushers and contour powders I thought I would give the chocolate bronzer a go. I had heard so many good things about it – mostly about how amazing it smelt. I picked up the shade 52 and when I swatched it in store it seemed like it had a lot of colour pay off so I was excited about it.
I really do love the packaging of it, it is something that is quite different and quite a good size for travelling, and of course it looks amazing. I wasn’t as blown away with the smell as I thought I would be, it does have a distinct smell but I can’t say it’s incredible or anything. In terms of colour, I think it works really well for my skin, it’s a nice overall bronzer for when I’m wearing a slightly lighter foundation and it’s also quite buildable as a contour, although I would say I do need a lot of it to contour my face, as you don’t get much product on the brush — which is why I prefer it as an all over bronzer. I can’t imagine that I will end up getting through mine any time soon, it isn’t something I reach for on a daily basis and I’m not really tempted to try any different shades of it either. I much prefer the Sleek luminous pressed powder – a slightly darker shade than your skin works as a great contour and the colour pay off is much better.
