Benefit Hello Flaweless Powder | Review

I’m a huge fan of Benefit and when I was lucky enough to attend the Fakeup Launch in Leeds I also received the Hello Flawless powder* to try out. I had been eyeing up the powder for a while but I wasn’t sure it would work on my skin, considering how dry my skin gets. I gave it a go and to be honest I was pleasantly surprised. During the event Lisa, head makeup artist for Benefit colour matched me with ‘Amber’ but as they didn’t have this with them on the night, I got given ‘Beige’ and ‘Honey’ to try out.

As always the Benefit packaging is amazing, it’s quite a small compact but it’s great considering you get a mirror, a brush and sponge too which is always handy for when you’re travelling.

There is very little difference between the two, the top swatch is ‘Beige’, which is what I’ve been using. The only other powder that I have ever really loved is the Rimmel stay matte one, but even that isn’t the best for my skin but it does the job. I’ve been using the Hello Flawless powder to set my makeup after I’ve applied my foundation and I’ve noticed that my makeup does stay on a lot longer! Unlike other powders this one is incredibly fine so it applies onto the skin without looking chalky or cakey – which is what I usually get with powders. I never thought I would love it as much as I do and I’ve been using it everyday since I got it. At £24.50* I think it is pricey, but if I’m honest I would rather repurchase this than any other powder! So glad I got to try it out, I’m pretty tempted by the Hello Flawless liquid foundation now..
