Skincare Favourites.

I’m always looking for new products to try out on my skin, they don’t always work but over the past few weeks I’ve found a range of products that I’m loving and that have been great on my skin. Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, Simple kind to skin anti blemish moisturiser and the Effaclar Duo have been mentioned on my blog numerous times so I thought it would be good to talk about some of the new stuff I’ve been using..

I got this Dr Renaud Raspberry hydrating moisturiser in the February Glossybox and wasn’t too sure about it at first, I didn’t particularly like the smell, but once I applied it, it wasn’t too bad. After using it for a few days I started to really like it, I tend to apply it at night and I find that it hydrates my skin and I don’t wake up with as much flakey skin, attractive I know. I think the fact that I’ve been using the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream as well has probably helped too, but more of that later.

I had heard so much about Bioderma Crealine, and for ages didn’t really get too excited about it but it got to the point where removing mascara and eyeliner was becoming too much effort. I knew that this worked great for removing eye makeup so I decided to give it a go. It wasn’t cheap but I’ve had it for a while now and found that you really only need the smallest amount, and I can imagine it will last a good few months. I prefer this to any other makeup remover I’ve used and I don’t even need to use makeup wipes now either.

I was so excited when I found this in the March Glossybox, it was another product that I had heard so much about but this time I really wanted to try it out. Although it is only a mini sample there’s still enough product to give it a good go. The weather is really abusing my skin so I find that when I apply this over the dry areas of my face and lips, my skin looks and feels so much better the next morning, it really is amazing. I can’t say I’m a fan of the smell (it’s meant to be fragrance free?!) and I don’t really like the texture of the product either, I always thought it would be more cream but it’s more of a gel really. Despite this I’ve been loving it purely because it’s been amazing for my skin. I know I’ll be purchasing a full size when this is finished.
