La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo | Review

A few weeks a go I did a review on the Effaclar K, and to be honest it wasn’t something that I loved, I could see that it was working but really it was just drying out my skin too much so I decided not to repurchase, instead I thought I would give the Effaclar Duo a go.

I have been using this for a while now and I tend to use it most nights and sometimes in the mornings, but I’d rather use a lighter moisturiser in the mornings. Since using this I find that my skin has been much better, I do still get some minor breakouts but I find that this clears it so much quicker, If I have a breakout or some blemishes, after applying this at night I see such an improvement the next morning.. I actually couldn’t believe how well it works. It is also really good at reducing the redness that I get on my cheeks and around my nose. For me it works just as well as the Effaclar K but doesn’t dry out the skin as much. You need the smallest amount, and to be honest I don’t apply this all over, I’d rather use it as a targeted treatment and use it in the areas where I really need it.

I know I’ll be repurchasing this when it finishes, it has to be one of the best products I’ve used in a really long time. Really looking forward to trying other products from La Roche-Posay soon.
