I had been collecting all of my empties for a while and since having accumulated quite a few items that I wanted to bin I thought it would be a good time to share my thoughts on them!
Simple spotless skin anti-blemish moisturiser – I think I have pretty much mentioned this product a million times on my blog.. but just incase you haven’t read about it I’ll just let you know that I love it. For £4.99 it is amazing, it is probably the only moisturiser that doesn’t irritate my skin when I apply it. And it does exactly what it says.. keeps blemishes away.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar K – You can read a full review of it here; https://processbeauty.wordpress.com/2013/01/16/la-roche-posay-effaclar-k-review/
I liked it.. but I don’t think I’ll repurchase!
Simple Kind to Skin moisture boost hydro cream – I thought I would love this. I really didn’t. Every time I applied this it was so painful on my skin, seriously, it just started stinging.. In the end I had to mix it with other moisturisers just to use it up. I love products from the simple range but this was such a let down, I expected it to be great for sensitive skin but it really wasn’t. You let me down real bad Simple.
ROC Cleansing Milk – I used to use this before I started using the Liz Earle cleanse and polish and I have to admit it is a really good cleanser, it’s incredibly creamy unlike some other cleansers it doesn’t dry your skin out at all.
John Freida Frizz Ease hydrating conditioner – I picked this up in superdrug just to try and to be honest I can’t say it really did anything for my hair.. I used it up but I wouldn’t repurchase. I don’t really care much for hair products, although I know I should, I was expecting great things from this but it just didn’t deliver.
Superdrug Hydrating Self Heating Mask – I didn’t know whether to include this in this post, as it would obviously be empty, but you know, It made sense in my head to include it. I was so excited to use this but to be honest it wasn’t great. It was amazing when it was on but the next morning my skin was so dry.. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? HOW? I was expecting my skin to be amazing the next day and it just wasn’t. It’s such a cool colour though.
No 7 Essential moisture day cream – I picked this up when I was in Boots just before Christmas as I had a skincare voucher. I wouldn’t have picked this up full price but I always get excited about vouchers. I thought it was alright can’t say it was amazing, but it did the job. I wouldn’t but this again especially as it costs around £10..
Peter Thomas Roth mega-rich body wash – I got this sample when I purchased some items from beautybay.com I didn’t think much of it but it had these kind of small beads in them and they felt pretty good on the skin. I used it every day until it finished and I haven’t looked into how much it is but if it’s reasonable it will seriously consider buying a full size.
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish – Favourite cleanser ever. I’ve got through a few bottles of this and I don’t think I’ll stop using it.. It’s amazing and it’s the only product that has started to sort my skin out. Thank you Liz Earle.
