Products used:

Sleek I dive palette in Oh so special 658 / Maybelline eye studio lasting drama gel eyeliner in black gold / Bourjois eyeshadow in blanc / 17 supreme shine lipstick in day glo / Benefit they’re real mascara / Bourjois Chic mademoiselle corner lashes / miss sporty liquid eyeilner

After my January favourites I mentioned that I hadn’t been feeling very adventurous with my makeup so decided to have a go at doing a slightly different smokey eye that had some sparkle too it.. I used a maybelline gel eyeliner in black gold to create a sparkle as well as using the sleek palette to build up a gold shimmer in the inner part of the lid. I was thinking about having a nude lip but I thought the pink would add just enough colour. I used the white eyeshadow just to bring enough definition to the inner corners so it didn’t look to heavy and it brightens the eye slightly. I thought I would go all out with some lashes to add some more drama and finished with some liquid liner on the lash line.

Hoping I can recreate this look for an evening out sometime soon!

  1. This combination looks great on you! Love the lip colour.
Didn’t know maybelline had the lasting drama gel eyeliner in black gold, either – will have to take a look!
